Welcome to Canada and Charlotte County!

The mission of the Charlotte County Multicultural Association is to promote and celebrate the strength of diversity by fostering meaningful connections and supporting full community participation for people of all backgrounds and circumstances.

 

The Charlotte County Multicultural Association (CCMA) warmly welcomes newcomers to our area!  We offer various settlement services and language training to assist you and your family in settling into Canada.  Our offices are situated in Saint George and Saint Stephen, New Brunswick, from which we serve all of Charlotte County.


Once you register with us, you can enjoy all our services free of charge!

About Us

The Charlotte County Multicultural Association (CCMA), established in 2009, is a non-profit organization dedicated to offering information and services to newcomers, immigrants, and refugees to facilitate their successful settlement and integration into the community. Based in the southern region of New Brunswick, we serve areas including Lepreau, Pennfield, Blacks Harbour, Grand Manan, Deer Island, St. George, Saint Andrews, Oak Bay, and St. Stephen. We collaborate with local communities, businesses, government services, employers, and other service providers to ensure a warm welcome and support for our newcomers.

We are here to assist newcomers in settling into their new life in Canada.

We offer orientation, information, and referrals to various community programs and services for newcomers and their families.

We collaborate with newcomer youth to create a variety of programs and activities aimed at helping them acquire new skills, forge friendships, and feel a sense of belonging within their community.

 Our dedicated team is here to connect job seekers with employers, Whether newcomers are searching for their next career opportunity or looking to fill a position in company, we provide  resources to ensure a successful match.

Building community connections fosters a sense of belonging and enhances newcomers social skills while linking them to their local community.

 

We will connect newcomers with our volunteers.

Informal Language 

 

 

We provide classes tailored for everyday communication, business needs, IELTS, CELPIP, and citizenship preparation. Our classes are offered during the day, in evenings, weekends; available both in-person and online.
