Settlement Services

At CCMA, we help newcomers settle comfortably and confidently into life in Charlotte County. Our team provides guidance, resources and support to make your transition easier, whether you need help finding services, navigating daily life, or connecting with the community.

Moving to a new community can be overwhelming, but CCMA ensures that newcomers feel a warm welcome. 

Once registered newcomers meet settlement workers, either in person or online, to understand unique settlement needs and to connect newcomers to their chosen community.

We Provide:

General Settlement Support
 

  • One-on-One Information and Orientation for newcomers who requires ongoing support for settlement including housing and healthcare

  • Printing

  • Faxing

  • Photocopying

  • Opening bank accounts

  • Use of computer

Pre-arrival Services

Digital Support Immigration Applications and Documentation

 
Assist newcomers digitally to complete their immigration forms, such as:
  • creating accounts
  • uploading documents
  • filling out digital applications
  • navigating the Government of Canada's online immigration systems.

Group Information and Orientation

Guided Information sessions to help newcomers to integrate into Canadian norms and system, such as: 

  • Medicare Card

  • Private Insurance

  • Family Doctor

  • Ambulance

  • Dental Plan

  • Vision Plan

  • NB Health Link

  • eVisit NB

  • Emergency contacts etc

As a registered client, you will gain access to complimentary services offered by the CCMA, along with vital information necessary for newcomers to Canada.

What You Will Need To Register as a Client:

  • Book an appointment (send an e-mail or call)

  • Work or Study Permit, or PR card

  • Immigration Program Letters, Letter of Offer from Employer or Approval Letter from the Government depending on which program you are registered with
