Volunteering with CCMA

CCMA is thankful to volunteers who  assist newcomers in settling into Charlotte County. Volunteers contribute in various ways, from helping at CCMA events, to engaging in longer commitments by working individually with newcomers. They also provide support at the CCMA office as needed.

Those in one-on-one work with newcomers must first apply to volunteer with CCMA, complete a screening process, obtain a clean Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and undergo cross-cultural training. After this, volunteers are appropriately matched with newcomers.
